Mahr's Brau is a small family owned and operated brewery in Bamberg, Germany. In 1895, Johann Michel Jr., the grandfather of today’s owner Ingmar MICHEL, purchased the brewery and the rock cave at Stephansberg.

The brewing tradition of the Michel’s family is approaching the fourth generation. Almost no other business in Bamberg was able to combine modernization with traditional values.

Two beers from this fine brewery are Mahr's Brau, a traditional lager, and a Seasonal Christmas Bock.
