Most domestic beer in the USA is brewed for mass marketing and distribution to people with a broad range of tastes. In order to satisfy this market, the beers must give up flavor and aroma so as to appeal to the largest audience. In other words, if the beer has no flavor, it is unlikely to offend anyone's taste buds. Trendy brews like lite and low calorie beers have become popular for this reason.

Chuck rejects this whole idea. He believes that each brew should be distinctive. It should have its own flavor, aroma, color and after taste to make it unique. And rather than swig down a six-pack of beer in aluminum cans, he prefers quality over quantity.

A fine bottled or tap brew served at the right temperature in the right glass or mug is much more enjoyable. It also helps to enhance the experience when the setting and mood are relaxed.

The brews featured here are just a few that Chuck feels merit special recognition. They are all different from each other, yet they are all brewed with care and the finest ingredients.
